General - enabling and disabling Notifications
- Reminders are delivered as notifications to your device.
- The notification system is not the same as text messages, and they will not appear in your texting app.
- You may also see them as a banner at the top of your screen, and on your lock screen.
1. Please make sure you are allowing Notifications for this app. Initially when you installed the app, you may have declined this feature.
On your iOS device:
- Tap the device settings app
- Tap Notifications
- Tap your act app in the app list.
- Slide ON "Allow Notifications"
- Tap the device settings app
- Tap Device: Sound & notification
- Tap App Notifications
- Tap your act app in the app list.
- Verify that "Block" is turned off.
- Priority is an option you can turn "On" if your notifications are not consistently delivered or if you would like this app's notifications to be featured above other notifications on your device
- Tap the Settings icon in the lower right screen in Tap your act app.
- Set your Start and End Times to define when in the day you would like to allow Notifications to arrive
- Set the Frequency of the notifications to set how often during the day you would like to receive Notifications
My reminder notifications are briefly on the lock screen, but are gone before I finish viewing them. Can I retrieve the reminder?
1. View all of your daily reminder notifications that you have recently received by accessing the Notification center at the top of your screen
On your iOS device:
- Swipe downward from the top of your screen (starting above the screen near your camera) until the Notification Center is revealed.
- Tap on the Notifications tab to view your reminders
On your Android device:
- Swipe downward from the top of your screen (starting above the screen near your camera) to reveal your list of notifications.
- View any of your act reminders here. If are not able to read all of the reminder, then drag the text box down to reveal the entire reminder.
